Renae + Mason: San Francisco Engagement Photo Session in Golden Gate Park & Baker Beach

From their brilliantly warm smiles, you could never tell that these photos were taken during the cold arctic spell we recently had in San Francisco. Love can keep you warm, and that is exactly the case when it comes to Renae + Mason.

We had the best time running through Golden Gate Park, seeking out every possible sunny spot to soak in the rays. The shade also provided romantic photo ops, as Mason would wrap his arms around Renae to keep her warm.

After their little hike in the park, the couple headed to Baker Beach. The skies were crystal clear, providing the blue wash to contrast the red outline of the Golden Gate Bridge in the background.

Renae + Mason are such a sweet couple, and always ready to have some fun. There was a lot of laughing throughout the whole photo session - the kind of spirit to keep you warm even on the coldest winter day.

Jenny + Eric: San Francisco Engagement Photo Session

It's official: we have a winner for the best outfit of the year at an engagement photo session. Jenny -- your skirt tops them all! And once we got the story behind the skirt, it made it even better :) Jenny's sister wore it on her engagement session in Texas, but with a totally different spin, out in nature. For Jenny + Eric's engagement photo session, we hit the pavement and went for a fun urban look, utilizing everything San Francisco has to offer, from the bright purple door of a classic Victorian house to a cascade of stairs at a local park.

Jenny + Eric are totally adorable together and were wonderful to photograph, especially since they seem to have an endless supply of contagious giggles! Gotta love these two!

Melissa + Doug: San Francisco Engagement Photo Session at Stow Lake

Melissa + Doug, both Bay Area natives, met way-back-when in high school and now they have set a date for their wedding next year :) Seriously adorable!

We had a fantastic time strolling around Stow Lake in Golden Gate Park, taking their engagement photos. These two are super playful together and we were able to capture that laughter when we came upon a pile of golden fall leaves. We suggested a silly leaf fight and they were totally down, especially Melissa, who yes, may have won ;)

Hemali + Abhishek: San Francisco Engagement Photo Session on Baker Beach

When the world gives you a bed of red rose petals, lie down in them :)

A few weeks ago we went with Hemali + Abhishek to Baker Beach to take their engagement photos, and as we walked down the sand, we encountered a scattering of gorgeous red rose petals. We shortly learned that such magical occurrences are to be expected around these two - and we definitely took it as another sign of their good luck!

Hemali + Abhishek are such a lovely couple. Even though this was the first time we had met them, we immediately felt a connection, swapping concert and travel stories. They are both so relaxed together and up for anything.
