Annamarie + Terry grew up just an hour away from each other in Ireland, but didn't meet until they moved several thousand miles to San Francisco. They met through a mutual friend and their connection was instant! We had the most glorious spring day in San Francisco last weekend, and took the opportunity to use the blooming cherry trees in Golden Gate Park as a super romantic backdrop for their engagement photo session, followed by a skip to the beach for some sun and surf. Annamarie + Terry are such a lovely couple and we are so happy for them :) Congratulations love birds on your engagement!!

Lisa + Eugene: San Francisco Engagement Photo Session at the Palace of Fine Arts

After returning from a lengthy photo assignment in the Middle East (and shaking the sand from our ears) we were excited to return to S.F. and take our first engagement photo session of the year with Lisa + Eugene at the Palace of Fine Arts! Sunday morning arrived with rain, but no worries. A light drizzle didn't stop us from having fun. To start, Lisa and Eugene celebrated by toasting each other with shots of vodka! This proved to be the quickest way to warm up on a cozy winter's day.

M + B: Surprise Proposal in Napa Valley at Domaine Carneros Winery

There is no better way to start off the New Year than to ask the love of your life to be your wife :) We have been holding on to this secret for several weeks now, but we can finally share this story with you all. Under a brilliant blue sky, B proposed to his girlfriend M on the steps of the gorgeous Domaine Carneros Winery in Napa Valley. We stayed incognito, studying a bird manual, while following behind them and toting huge zoom lenses. Of course, we would pose as birders ;)

We are so happy for them both! Congratulations love birds!!

Nicole + Anthony: Engagement Photo Session at AT&T Park and Twin Peaks

San Franciscans are crazy about baseball. And Nicole + Anthony are what you might call authentic Giants fans! So how perfect was it that we got to spend a day at the AT&T ballpark with them last Sunday, to photograph their love of the game and each other. It was perfectly romantic and totally San Francisco!

Nicole + Anthony are a gorgeous pair and we loved that they could get gushy together, and ham it up, with true Giants fan flavor! After the stadium, we headed to Twin Peaks, where they had their first date, for some classic views of the Bay Area. An excellent ending to a splendid afternoon :) We are so happy for these two love birds!
