Mother Daughter Night at SI // San Francisco Event Photography
This was officially the sweetest event we’ve ever photographed at SI. Mamas and their daughters, celebrating sisterhood and friendship. And then — well, things got really crazy when the DJ asked some freshmen moms to get up on stage and show off their hip-hop moves! Their fan club, aka their daughters, went wild! Put 400 women together in a room with good music and nothing can stop them!

FRAME Opening in Berlin, Germany at the Australian Embassy // 69th Berlinale
Our photography exhibition, FRAME, documenting how Asia Pacific feminist filmmakers are using film to address inequalities, opened in Berlin, during the 69th Berlinale. We’re ecstatic at all the attention the show is getting and that these women’s stories are being seen and shared. And we’re so grateful to the other FRAME collective members, Jane Sloane and Maxine Williamson, and also Maryanne Redpath, plus all the fierce feminist directors we’ve worked with, who have helped keep this project moving forward!
FRAME will be up at the Australian Embassy in Berlin until March 29, 2019. And then there’s whispers of Sydney… and NYC… stay tuned!
