Maya + Liam: Point Reyes Wedding, Part 1

Maya + Liam call us the Fambors. That is a combination of family + neighbors, because Ariel and Liam have known each other since the day Liam was born, and we actually live just four blocks away from them now and we have been known to gather frequently for long dinners over their famous Cuban lemon chicken.

These two are family. Dear, darling, family and we can't tell you how completely thrilled we are now that they are now MARRIED!

Just a few weeks ago, they tied the knot atop Mt. Vision in Pt. Reyes, embraced by their adoring family and friends. There was dreamy fog (and a little bit of peek-a-boo blue sky), incredibly adorable vows (Liam works for Twitter so they were a short and sweet 140 characters long!) and of course, ridiculous amounts of tears. It was total perfection, for a totally perfect pair.

We'll post part 2 featuring their gorgeous reception and dance party, once these two love birds get back from their honeymoon in Europe! Bon voyage nos amours!

Cuz Club Grand Opening!

The Cuz Club is officially open for endless hours of fun, and we were lucky enough to be there to photograph the grand opening events in San Rafael :) This is truly the greatest club house we have ever seen, designed and built by Grandma + Grandpa Genet (a.k.a. the world's most fabulous grandparents!), for all their beautiful grandchildren. Zeina + Sam: San Francisco Engagement Photo Session

We immediately knew we were going to hit it off with Zeina + Sam when they came over to our house and brought chocolate - and not just any chocolate, but single-source, artisan grade chocolate - aka the good stuff! Then when they suggested we do an engagement photo session, in their kitchen, where they make chocolate, from bean to bar, we didn't hesitate with an answer! Yes, please - as long as we get to eat some while we take pictures ;)

But first, before dessert, the main entree: a whopping dollop of S.F. culture. We wandered around the Palace of Fine Arts, marveling at its iconic, beaux arts architecture. Then we hopped over to the fog-blanketed beach at Crissy, to capture some classic shots with the Golden Gate Bridge reclining in the background. We photographed a playful moment with Zeina holding her scarf against the wind.

Once nicely goose-bumped, we headed back to their home to get warm, and eat some chocolate. But first, Zeina + Sam had to make it. The smells in the kitchen were truly intoxicating! It was beautiful to watch Zeina + Sam work together, carefully weighing out ingredients, removing the husks from the cacao beans with a hair-dryer on their fire escape, and sneaking tastes at each step to maintain "quality control." It was such a joyful and merry afternoon, with a truly delightful couple.

Congratulations Zeina + Sam! We are soo excited for your wedding in November!
