Danielle + Chris: Wedding Photography at Cavallo Point Lodge in Sausalito, Pt. 2

After their beautiful wedding ceremony at the Mission Blue chapel, Danielle + Chris led their guests down the hill to their reception at the Cavallo Point Lodge. The room was an elegant take on a sparkling winter wonderland. Delicious food was served, toasts were made and then Danielle + Chris took the dance floor for the first time as husband and wife.

Danielle + Chris' wedding at Cavallo Point in Sausalito was a dreamy winter celebration. The day started with prep in the late afternoon. Chris and the guys had a super fun time running around the vast property at Cavallo Point getting their photos taken. Danielle was completely giddy during the wedding prep. It was adorable how excited and fluttery with butterflies she was, with so much anticipation for seeing her groom at the ceremony.

The wedding ceremony took place at dusk in the historic Mission Blue chapel at Cavallo Point. These two are just meant for each other, know how to make each other smile, and are each others' best friends. It was so touching to see them declare their love for one another, surrounded by their friends and family, and tie the knot.

There were so many great moments at their wedding, stay tuned for two more posts of their reception and day-after wedding portraits with the Golden Gate Bridge.

Lauren + Trevor: Santa Barbara Destination Wedding at Villa Verano, Pt. 2

After their wedding ceremony, Lauren + Trevor walked together to a private shaded spot on the Villa Verano estate to spend some time together. Of all the weddings we have photographed over the years, one thing that stood out was how present these two were. Often during the ceremony they would hold each others' hands, close their eyes, and just soak it all in. They are present for each other with all their mind, heart, and soul. We took a photograph of them sharing one such moment together just after their ceremony, near a contemplative labyrinth on the grounds of the Santa Barbara estate, and it just seemed like such a symbolic image of their mindful, gratitude-filled, constant love.

Next, they headed to their cocktail hour, or as Trevor called it, "the best hour!" It had everything: a pool, the sun, amazing drinks and hors d'oeuvres, a live jazz band, and wonderful vistas. Right before sunset, guests headed up to the estate's top deck, for dancing, toasts and dinner.

Lauren + Trevor, we hope these photos always remind you of your spectacular wedding day. It was an honor to be able to watch you start your life together as a married duo. Mazel tov, congratulations, and best wishes sweet love birds!

Lauren + Trevor: Santa Barbara Destination Wedding at Villa Verano, Pt. 1

Lauren + Trevor got married at the Villa Verano, a magical estate in the hills of Santa Barbara, with vistas and lush gardens that go on forever. Their destination wedding brought friends and family together from across the globe, gathering together with the relaxed, jubilant feel of a group vacation, but with everybody dressed in their best threads, to celebrate the love of these two warmhearted, brilliant souls.

It was a gorgeous, almost tropical, autumn day, and began with the gents circling up for a little meditation in the sun. The gals stayed cool indoors, soaking up the A.C, and even jumped into a fabulous clawfoot bathtub. The guys soon ducked indoors, hanging in the game room (beware of pool sharks!), and then reclined in the movie screening room donning sundry masks to kick the tribalistic guy-bonding up a notch. Lauren + Trevor had the best bridal party backing them up!

After the boutonnières were pinned, and the jewelry clasped, Trevor waited at the bottom of the estate's grand staircase for the bride to appear. Lauren walked down the stairs, with a grace that brings to mind Audrey Hepburn - like, how in movies, actresses seem to just float down. Then they just fell into each others' arms with laughter. There were definitely tears in their eyes as well. It was such a sweet moment, so full of emotion and joy. They linked arms to enjoy the rest of the day together, and we took photos around the property, as they made their way down through the descending paths to the site of their ceremony.

Lauren + Trevor were so relaxed and present during the whole wedding day. We could tell that they were able to enjoy every moment and just melt into all the love that their friends and family surrounded them with. Their wedding ceremony was filled with so many beautiful moments, including delightful readings and poems and so much live music, performed by close friends, aunties and uncles.

We're so happy we got to spend this day with these two sweeties and document their wonderful celebration. Up next we'll be posting photos from their poolside cocktail hour and reception at sunset, so stay tuned.
