Our Photos in the Global Fund for Women's Annual Report

Last winter we spent a month in the Middle East taking photographs for the Global Fund for Women. It was an incredible trip, where we documented the amazing work of women in the region and heard their inspiring stories first hand. The Global Fund for Women just published their annual report and used many of the photographs we took on the trip in the publication, dispersed among the images below. Cutest. Family. Ever!

Kara is our midwife and we have been spending the last few months getting to know each other, in preparation for our baby girl arriving in April. During our visits (pregnancy checkups are done in the comfort of our own home, on the living room couch), we have gotten to hear wonderful stories about her beautiful family and last week we got to meet them all, for a family photo session at Glen Canyon Park. Kara + her husband Jon have two spirited kids, Ruby and Jackson, and they love between these four is truly dear. We feel so thankful to have such a warm mother figure, with an incredible family, helping us start our own family :)
