A few weeks ago we had dinner with our two darling friends, Caroline + Tristan, and Tristan told us about his family tradition of celebrating advent every Sunday in December. Inspired, we all decided to host rotating Sunday holiday parties. The first took place at our home last weekend, a holiday craft party. While Tristan put together a traditional advent wreath, the room was filled with many elves working on other crafts: Clio + Mark got knitting, Caroline bound a book, Matt worked on some handmade rope, Sam + I made a stuffed turtle for our niece, and to top it all off (and to make it a real craft party) Davia, of the amazing design blog, Wandern Vintage, was present and putting together some fabulous leather earrings. You should check out her blog this month -- she is posting 24 handmade gift ideas everyday until Christmas, all of which are do-able and beautiful!
Leave a comment and tell us what holiday crafts you are making this year!

Thanksgiving day was gorgeous. It was sunny and warm and we felt so happy to be able to spend part of the holiday with the Genet family at the Ritz-Carlton in Half Moon Bay!
There was delicious food, art projects, a menorah lighting and singing, and also a fun kids project, where each kiddo got "cash" and could pick out which farm animal they were going to buy for a family in need through the non-profit, Heifer. What a great learning and giving experience for all these little ones :)
Cheryl's family gatherings are always filled with beautiful details, like custom backpacks for the grandkids and lovely floral centerpieces by De Young Flowers. We just had to share some holiday joy and these photos are brimming with it! Enjoy!
So much to be thankful for :)

This year we celebrated Thanksgiving twice, first with a family brunch at home and in the evening at the Ritz-Carlton in Half Moon Bay. We are so thankful to have had such a wonderful day filled with friends, family and incredibly delicious eats! More photos from the day of feasting coming soon :)

A surprise lion dance and an awesome drum circle?! Jennifer + Redic, you two truly know how to throw an amazing wedding and party! Two weeks ago, the Winery SF on Treasure Island was filled to the brim with live music, the shimmying hijinks of lucky red dragons, and the syncopated thump of drum beats that would have impressed even Ringo Star. All this fun was to celebrate the union of two amazing people, Jennifer + Redic's, on a gorgeous November evening.
We had the best time taking photos and wanted to share some images from their perfect wedding day :) Enjoy!
What a fabulous night! Congrats Jennifer + Redic!
