Gun control, rape, race issues, abortion, suicide and bullying are not the first themes you would expect in a high school play, but the students at SI pulled it off in the way-too-current-for-comfort production of O Beautiful by Theresa Rebeck. We offer a great option for our event photography clients and set up an onsite headshot studio or we can take natural light portraits, so if clients have employees coming in from all over the country or world (in this case, New Zealand, Ireland and NYC!), they can all get updated headshots, even if they are spread out in different locations. Just down the Hwy 1 is a magical little beach town called Half Moon Bay. We're still getting warm weather here in California and we were lucky to have two beautiful days on the coast. We stayed in a gorgeous beach cottage, that was literally across the street from the sea and a 20 minute walk to Main Street, where we got carrot cake and made a visit to the local library. We didn't get in the car once! It was lovely. And Nana and Babo joined us on the beach as well, happy to escape The City for the day.

There was a time, not too long ago, that the fight against the AIDS epidemic looked hopeless and felt terrifying. Working with HIV/AIDS patients in the earliest days, to developing and implementing a global strategy as US Global AIDS coordinator, Dr. Eric Goosby is now the UN special envoy on tuberculosis. Despite his monumental resume, what's more inspiring is how humble and authentic he is, qualities that only reinforce his conviction that, with diligent action, we all have the capacity to make tremendous change in the world.
